I enclose two letters from Forster about which I spoke to you on the telephone yesterday. A copy of the announcement which we issued in connection with the post is also enclosed. Perhaps you will be good enough to send him a reply to the letter which he addressed to this Office. The letter addressed to Mr. Dale scarcely deserves a reply, but if you would like to mention it perhaps some such words as the following would do "There is no record at the Board of Education that any undertaking, such as you suggest in your letter to Mr. Dale, was given with regard to transfer
